Wele dŷ a adeiladwyd
  Yn dy enw, Arglwydd Dduw:
Lle i sôn am Un a hoeliwyd
  Ar y groes, i ni gael byw;
    Lle i'th foli,
  Ac i alw am dy ras.

Tryged yma dy ogoniant,
  Ac na chuddia byth dy wedd;
Rho i'th saint ysbrydol fwyniant,
  Rho i bechaduriaid hedd;
    Caed angylion
  Destun cânu yma o hyd.

Mewn distawrwydd a ffyddlondeb
  Aed yr eglwys hon ymlaen;
Mewn athrawiaeth yn y purdeb,
  Tra bo yma faen ar faen;
    Ein Gogoniant,
  Aros ynddi, aros byth.

Behold a house that was built
  In thy name, Lord God:
A place to tell of One who was nailed
  On the cross, for us to get to live;
    A place to praise thee,
  And to call for thy grace.

May thy glory dwell here,
  And never hide thy face;
Give thy saints spiritual enjoyment,
  Give to sinners peace;
    May angels get
  A theme to sing here always.

In quietness and faithfulness
  May this thy church go forward;
In teaching in the purity,
  While there be here stone upon stone;
    Our Glory,
  Abide in it, abide forever.
